DAY 1: NAIROBI-MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE.
The tour guide picks you up from your hotel after breakfast, at around 6am to 8 am. The journey to Masai Mara will commence and at lunch hour, stopover at Narok town to have lunch. You later proceed with the trip. If you get to Masai Mara national reserve early enough, you could pass by the accommodation facility for refreshments but if time doesn’t allow, you immediately head to the reserve for a brief game drive. Masai Mara is a home for different animal species which includes the big five, which you might get to view. In July, August and September, wildebeests migrate from Serengeti to the Mara, which is a very entertaining view. After the game drive, the guide takes you to the lodge, where dinner is served and night spent.
DAY 2: THE MARA NATIONAL RESERVE DRIVE.
After breakfast, you will be picked from the lodge at 7:45am for the day’s game drive. The drive will take you through the landscape of the reserve which is savannah grassland on rolling hills. Masai Mara national reserve has good extensive road networks which provide a platform to closely view the wild animals. You will view different kinds of wildlife, vegetation and the beautiful landscape. You will then have a picnic lunch, after which you will then be driven back to the lodge, for a cup of coffee or tea. An optional visit to the Masai village is later on availed, which comes at a fee, and can be directly paid for. The evening’s dinner is the served and overnight at the lodge.
DAY 3: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE – NAKURU.
A cup of coffee or tea is served at 6:45am in the morning, after which the guide picks you up for a sunrise game drive.Lions are well known for hunting in the morning, and you could be lucky to spot such a scenerial. After the game drive, you head back to the camp for a full breakfast. You later depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, as you enjoy the scenic view of the great mt.Longonot and Lake Naivasha from the highway distance. Lunch is then served enroute and upon arrival at Lake Nakuru you will have a short game drive en route to the lodge.
DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU – LAKE NAIVASHA.
Immediately after breakfast, the guide will pick you up for a game drive at lake Nakuru park to interact with the pink flamingoes at the shores of the lake. The park has got a white rhino sanctuary, cape buffallos and waterbacks at the shoreline of this lake. Hot lunch will be served during lunch hour, after which you then move on to the budget hotel in Naivasha for check-in.You will then enjoy a boat ride which is optional(at a fee of 25 dolars per head) in lake Nakuru’s fresh waters as you view the hippos closely and have a beautiful evening stray at the crescent island. Dinner is served and night spent at Naivasha Sopa Lodge.
DAY 5: NAIVASHA – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK.
After breakfast you will then have a nature walk at Hell’s gate national park. You can pick bicycles which is optional (at a fee of 6 dollars per person) from the warden to enjoy cycling in this one and only walking park in our beautiful country, Kenya. The park is rich in that it inhabits a numerous number of different bird species of which some are vultures, verreaux’s eagles, augur buzzard, swifts and many others. The park is also wildlife heritaged with animals such as the african buffalo, the zebra, the eland, the hartebeest, thomson’s gazelle, baboons and many others. Predominantly, Hell’s gate national park is a home to the klipspringer antelope and the chanler’s mountain reedbuck.After this amazing adventure walk, you will have your lunch enroute, then depart for Amboseli national park in time for dinner and overnight at Kibo safari camp or Amboseli Sopa Lodge.
DAY 6: AMBOSELI FULL DAY GAME DRIVES.
After breakfast, you will be picked from the camp at 7:45am for the day’s game drive. The drive will take you through the swampy grounds where elephants and hippos bathe.Amboseli national park has good extensive road networks which provide a platform to closely view the wild animals. You will view different kinds of wildlife such as the antelopes and birds, vegetation and the beautiful scenery of mount Kilimanjaro’s peak, if the weather conditions permit. You will then have a picnic lunch, after which you will then be driven back to the lodge for a cup of coffee or tea. Dinner and overnight still at Kibo safari Camp or Amboseli Sopa Lodge.
DAY 7: AMBOSELI – NAIROBI.
Upon waking up, a hot cup of coffee or tea will be served, after which the guide picks you up for a premorning game drive to catch up with the beautiful sunrise in the jungle. After the game drive, the guide will drive you back to the lodge or camp for a full breakfast and then depart for Nairobi with lunch enroute. On arrival, you will be dropped at the hotel or airport to connect your flight to your next destination.
